Why instruct us?

Sarah Gray has many years of experience working as a solicitor within the legal sector. She now works independently as a non-practising solicitor and upholds the standards and practices recommended by The Law Society. She also in an Affiliate member of STEP. Sarah specialises in Lasting Power of Attorney and therefore all of our work is purely connected with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Power of Attorney.

The Lasting Power of Attorney application forms are long and any mistake made could result in the application being denied. Let us complete the forms on your behalf. Avoid costly and timely errors through submitting forms incorrectly, saving you the need to resubmit and pay a further fee to the court.

Our award winning professional advice enables you to have peace of mind knowing that you have exactly what you need and that your interests are effectively covered.

We encourage face to face appointments so that we can get to know you and support you more thoroughly. We give you plenty of time to ask questions, explore options and know exactly what you may want or need. We do not place a set time limitation at appointments as we recognise that everyone is different and we pride ourselves in giving you support and advice throughout the process, tailoring our service to suit each client, guiding you all of the way.

We meet you where you feel the most comfortable and at a time that suits you, which includes evenings and weekends. This also allows you the opportunity to have any family/friends present with you throughout the process.

If you require an urgent application we can meet with you quickly, and subject to obtaining the relevant signatures, can make the application within days. (Please note that the Court of Protection usually registers the application within 8 to 10 weeks)

Our costs are set, there are no ‘hidden’ or ‘extra’ fees. If you wish to make one application, our costs are £295. If you make two applications at the same time (e.g. Property and Financial Affairs LPA, and Health and Welfare LPA) our costs are £495. If you need four applications completing as a couple, our costs are £695. For each application there is also a Court fee of £82, subject to reductions/exemptions dependent on income and welfare benefit entitlement.

We offer 2 different levels of service according to your needs – our Full Lasting Power of Attorney Service and our Check and Advice DIY Service.
